Release order first
For a first time through any franchise, release order is the sensible choice: it follows the way the series introduced its characters and its rules, and the year on every card gives it to you. The season pages follow the cours, so a split-cour season is two pages in order.
The long shonen
One Piece: the series in order, with the continuous episode numbering; the films are side stories and can be watched any time, except Film Red and Stampede, which are best after you know the crew. Naruto then Naruto Shippūden, then Boruto if you want it. Bleach in order, then Thousand-Year Blood War, which is its final arc. Dragon Ball Z after Dragon Ball, then Super; the Broly and Super Hero films follow Super.
Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen
Demon Slayer: season one, then the Mugen Train film, then the Entertainment District, Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training seasons, then the Infinity Castle film, which is the beginning of the end. Jujutsu Kaisen: the film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 first or after season one, both work; then seasons one and two in order.
Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter
Attack on Titan in release order; the final season is in several parts and the pages follow them. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the complete adaptation and stands alone. Hunter x Hunter, the 2011 series, stands alone too.
Fate, Monogatari and the awkward ones
Fate: Fate/Zero first if you want the prequel, then Unlimited Blade Works, then the Heaven's Feel films. Monogatari: release order, Bakemonogatari first, whatever the chronology says. Re:ZERO in release order, with the director's cut of season one if you are starting fresh. Where a franchise is not here, the search lists every entry with its year, which is the order for almost everything.
